2020 Toyota Alphard Review Rumor

Toyota Alphard – This is the surprise. The latest Toyota Alphard and Vellfire 2018 have appeared on the UMW Toyota Motor site and almost three weeks after the facelifted MPV duo was revealed in Japan. It seems that fancy JDM people are also open for reservations too, but that probably does not mean the car is here and is ready to be shipped – see Harrier.

Elsewhere, the use of high strength structural adhesives and glass adhesives has resulted in increased body stiffness, contributing to better handling stability and ride comfort, Toyota claims.

Toyota Alphard had previously lost its semi-Lexus-spindle look and got a sharp display of Toyota. Now more impressive character features with new slim LED lights appear integrated into a large radiator grille with chrome bumper trim.

2020 Toyota Alphard Engine

Facelift Alphard-Vellfire comes with a new 2G-FKE 3.5-liter V6 engine that adds direct injection into the mix. Toyota claims improved performance as well as better fuel economy, quoted between 10.4 and 10.6 km per liter on the Japanese JC08 cycle and up from 9.5 km per liter previously. The V6 model also moves from six-speed automatic to an eight-speed Direct Shift unit. 2.5-liter Dual VVT-i four-cylinder and CVT combo have been maintained.

FDM is a rather cool feature. Think of it as a camera feed directly from the rear, projected in the rearview mirror. This is great for safety too because the driver gets a clear and wide rear view without angular problems, head blocking or dark coloring on the road.

As for Vellfire, the feature list highlighted by UMWT includes FDM, BSM, wireless charger, auto start-stop and large central infotainment screen. The chair depicted is a captain’s seat in a black cabin. Captains of seats are under the wider VIP level at Alphard, which in addition to the controller and the integrated table, including massage and armrest function. Not mentioned Toyota Safety Sense.

Via an official route with UMWT will clean one car with unique specifications for weather and road conditions in Malaysia, as well as regulations. This includes special adjustment of machine ECU, wider outer mirror and customized audio and navigation system. Of course, official cars come with five years unlimited mileage of factory warranty and ensure the availability of spare parts of 10 years.
